True love. No one can argue with it. Caterina and Alfredo knew each other only six months when he popped the question. The funny thing is, they seem to have been together for years. They are so natural and comfortable with each other, it’s inspiring. These two are a perfect match. We were a little unsure about our plans for this Love Session, but they definitely wanted pictures on their front porch. This was formerly the home of Caterina’s grandmother, and holds many fond childhood memories for her. Alfredo is an arborist who is also a full time firefighter and Caterina is a teacher who is also a teacher ;-) . We had a lot of fun when we decided to stop by the fabulous Fly Boutique vintage store just around the corner from their home. They had a lot of laughs checking out and trying on the vast array of vintage stuff there :-) . Thank you guys for being such an awesome couple, we are so looking forward to your wedding day. Mireya was a DIY kind of bride.  She did her own airbrush make-up and we loved the orange and pinks of her floral decorations in their ceremony and reception.  We were very excited when we arrived at the Historic Hartman House Bed & Breakfast.  Mireya was going to be the first bride to ever get ready at the newly remodeled B&B and from our earlier visit, we knew that the innkeepers Benita & Jordan were really sweet :-) .  When Michael arrived, we were able to shoot their first look right on the premises of the beautiful historic home in Delray Beach.  The ceremony and reception were held at the nearby Benvenuto Restaurant.  Below, please find a small preview of their wedding day. Disney World!!! Yay!!! First of all let’s start by saying that we were super excited to shoot Vanessa & Bert’s love-session in The Magic Kingdom, “The Happiest Place on Earth”. Tracey-Ann is the biggest kid I know and she couldn’t stop talking about “the magic”, the characters, and most of all the “turkey leg”. We had so much fun with Vanessa and Bert. They are annual pass holders and visit Disney World every chance they get. They knew everything about the park, it was like visiting the Magic Kingdom with a personal tour guide. Humberto was on leave from the Navy, so we took the opportunity to do their engagement session in their favorite place. Since Bert is stationed in Guantanamo Bay, they don’t get to see each other often, so it was extra special for us to visit the Park with them. Vanessa looked classic in her vintage dress and Bert’s Navy uniform just completed the look. Thank you guys for playing along and for making us part of your love story. Enjoy your slideshow!! The full gallery will be available by Monday, please check back for the direct link.

Once again we are blessed to have a really cute couple with really good hearts. You can tell after two minutes that Mari and Mandy are a perfect match. Such a lovely pair :-) . Mandy is a Miami Firefighter, so we were able to get into his fire station and grab a few shots. The ironic thing is that this is not Mandy’s “home” station. His station had an electrical fire and they were reassigned to a few different fire houses, go figure. The guys at the station were very helpful and accommodating. Our second location was Jimbos in Virginia Key. Although we had to fight the rain, the light, and the mosquitos, you would never know it by looking at these guys. They were awesome. Thanks Mari for kissing in public, we know how you feel about PDA ;-) . Please view the slideshow and images below, and feel free to leave a comment. The full gallery is now available here.

So this is the quick follow up to Nelly and Gianny’s Yahoo Love Session. On this day we had a gorgeous bride, perfect weather, a wonderful venue, and a lot of fun loving people. One of the things I enjoyed the most about this wedding was seeing all the love everyone had for Nelly and Gianni. It always warms my heart. I also remember how concerned they were that everyone at the party was having fun. They were the perfect hosts and they made sure Tracey-Ann and I were well taken care of. Thank you guys for being so considerate and we hope you guys had fun on your honeymoon. Enjoy the slideshow below. Please click here for the full gallery.

Nelly and Gianni met through a Yahoo chat line, so we wanted to incorporate that into their love session. The result was very cool emoticons designed by Tracey-Ann and a very fun session. Due to weather issues we had to reschedule this session to only one week before their wedding day :-S. Fortunately we were able to process these fast enough for them to preview them at their wedding. Thank you guys for playing along and also for bringing Abbey. She was so sweet and the image with the bubble on her head is priceless. For this session we received inspiration from Peter’s interest in musical theater and Teri’s wish to shoot at a carnival. Tracey-Ann’s creative wheels were turning from the moment we left our first meeting with them. Before we were even booked, Tracey-Ann was brainstorming. Before I knew it, she had a sketch of the “Theatre in the Woods” she had envisioned. I must admit I was a little skeptical that we would get away with the theater curtains in the middle of a park. We set out to find the right fabric, the perfect park and the perfect set of trees. The only hiccup was the crazy wind and passing showers. We never accounted for the curtains wanting to set sail :-S. Thankfully, once Teri & Peter arrived, the wind settled down, the rain went away and it all came together splendidly. Thank you guys for being such great “actors”, even though we only asked you to play yourselves, he he! Enjoy your slideshow and images below. The full gallery will be available on Friday. Happy New Year Everyone!! This is our first blog entry for 2012 and we are so excited to be back in action ;-) . For our first post of the year we are happy to share our first traditional Chinese wedding. How cool is that! Jialian and Jesey advised us that their wedding would be very traditional, but we never imagined how much fun that meant. We learned early in the day, that the game pretty much consisted of the girls having a lot of fun at the groomsmen’s expense. Their first task was to break Jesey into the house to find his bride. Jialian was behind four doors that he had to get through by any means necessary. The bridesmaids got really creative thinking of ways to make the guys work for the keys. That included lots of pushups, drinking a hot sauce concoction befitting of “Fear Factor”, singing a love song A Cappella, and reenacting the marriage proposal to the best man. The games were followed by tea ceremonies with their parents and the church ceremony. The reception party included a ten course dinner, that’s right, TEN, which was followed by more traditional games. These games involved blind folds, Jialian grabbing butts and moving a raw egg through Jesey’s pant leg without breaking it. To our amazement she actually did it. Hilarious. So if you see a picture with the bride in a compromising position, don’t worry, it was all part of the game. Enjoy the slideshow below. To view the full gallery please click here.

Beautiful couple. Beautiful day. Beautiful wedding. It’s always a joy to shoot daylight weddings on gorgeous days like this one. Fairchild Tropical Gardens is an awesome venue, and we really appreciated having a little time to explore and shoot around the gardens. The reception was nonstop dancing and it was great to see Rendy do his MJ thing. I wanted to jump in but Rendy is on another level. That boy can dance! Thank you guys for being such a joyful couple full of love and fun. Enjoy your slideshow below and click here for your full gallery.

The day started with extremely hot temperatures, followed by torrential downpour, followed by beautiful blue skies just in time for the ceremony, followed by buckets of rain right before the family portraits. Welcome to South Florida . Although the weather was not cooperating, Enrique and Wendy kept their cool and had a wonderful time on their wedding day. It’s beautiful to see when couples don’t loose sight of what is important. It was their wedding day and they were determined to enjoy it with their family and friends and nothing was going to get in the way of that. I hope all of our future couples are as easy going as these two when everything seems to be going against the plan. Thank you guys for being not only a great couple, but really good and caring people. We wish you the best in your new marriage. Enjoy the slideshow! To view the full gallery please click here.
